But first you have to build the barbeque, so... Home Depot had barbeques on sale so we decided it was time to upgrade from our 10 year old model to one of the newer slicker models.
And then you open the box... I don't think there were any two pieces that were already together so Warren spent the afternoon of the 4th of July assembling the barbeque, but no cursing. I sat with the Spanish version of the directions to direct him -- it was mostly pictures anyway. And there were only 16 separate steps...
He already has put several pieces together here. There were a number of holes in the side but no directions about which went where! We did have a couple of times where he had to reassemble!
Ever vigilant, check those pictures one more time -- he doubted me more than once!
Ah, now it is beginning to look like a barbeque, three hours later!
Ah, the barbeque is assembled. By this time it was after 5 and we decided that it was too much work and time to barbeque the spare ribs I had defrosted so it was christened with a more simple fare of hamburgers!
Day lillies are beginning to pop up all over and Warren has promised we will get more bulbs for fancier ones. I love the multi-colored ones where there are subtle changes from pink to yellow. This one is the best we can do in our yard right now.
