The Last of My Vacation -- A Trip to Letchworth State Park

This isn't a picture from Letchworth but was taken on our ride home through Massachusetts and New York.

My friend from Florida has seen many of our New York sights on a previous trip a couple of years ago so I decided that a trip to Letchworth Park would be a nice addition as there are some pretty falls there.  The trees had not really turned very much though.  It was a gorgeous day but unfortunately there was a craft fair going on and the traffic getting in was horrendous to say the least!!  We finally got by the major crowds and enjoyed the many scenic outlooks -- many of which I didn't remember seeing before.

There was a little color here!  And there was a nice blue sky to help.

It was a pretty humid day and there was a lot of spray from the falls.  As there were so many people and limited parking, we didn't go further down the  Genessee River to get a different view.  We spent a heck of a lot more time there than we had thought we would!

Just another view of the above.

We did see some very bright color with bright blue sky on the way home though.  We don't usually have nice days and colors at the same time in Rochester.
